Technology and sports

Technology and sport events

Much has been said about how technology will take over most of the little things we do at home and for the moment, technology is part of managing sport infrastructure and events. For instance, with the use of StratFix(a web service) ticket agents can monitor in real time the seating arrangement in a stadium, many days before the events just with the aid of a web browser. Events can be filmed for training, stored,  retailed and used as a decision making tool during any event.

Video conferencing

 Video conferencing with ivisit.com – http://www.ivisit.com

In a way, the British overseas development agency was the first international organization to adopt video conferencing as part of the agency working system. This started many years ago, with the establishment of a special department at the main office of the agency and in regional offices located around the world.

To the international development agency, video conferencing is saving  precious executive hours in overseas tours,  the cost of air tickets and travel expenses. Although the agency invested heavily in video conferencing infrastructure and companies without the financial might of the international agency can use a free video conferencing software like ivisit.com irrespective of their operating systems.

It offers voice calls, instant messaging, file sharing, web browsing and video conferencing benefits.
