Electronic voting

It was introduced for the first time in 1970 due to a legislation that was passed in 1969 and it was a complete disaster. As we are sliding to the first round of the French presidential election only 82 of the 1 600 polling stations will use electronic voting. Electronic voting is through a touch screen and there are three operators in France for the moment:

-nedap-france elections

-indras sistemas and

-ES & S

ES&S anticipates controlling a 40% share of the market in the years ahead, as against indras systemas that has a 10%  share of the electronic voting market and nedap-france elections is the market leader.
