-a portable device

-motion detector

-a mobile operating system

-and with a voice recognition software.

At the end of trailblazer current testing, users will be able to spot obstacles and other dead ends on their day-to-day itinearies before the start of their journey.

Measuring online pr and marketing effectiveness

Measuring online pr and marketing effectiveness

Two years ago, I was surprised to be fished out by a pr executive because I mentioned the name of her company in a display of “french public opinion and the transition to the single currency system 1981-2002. In those days, a web monitoring tool is a strange word even for professionals  and today, the reverse is this case and this is why I am presenting the following web monitoring tools.

www.nielsenbuzzmetrics.com is one of such tools and it offers marketing, pr and information consultants an overview of their online campaign effectiveness. It’s a perfect tool for evaluating brand and product awareness and is a leader in the field. Both www.cymfony.com and www.umbrialistens.com have the same services but uses similar technologies to inform brand and pr managers of how internetters are reacting to their messages. While the famous “fathom process,” is the basic technology that powers the entire work of www.motivequest.com

In terms of IT infrastructure, it’s a USB card for every pupil, 220 PC’s, six servers, computer labs and a spip powered content management system. That enable the 650 pupils of the Lycée Hautil(versailles -Jouy-le moutier) to learn accounting, word processing, business managment and multimedia studies.

Whether for administrative, teaching and documentation, the entire system runs on the windows xp  operating system. Acces to the school is through a keycard and within the school premises television screens display the list of absent pupils, teachers on sick/maternity leave and computer labs that are open to the pupils.

GPS technology

GPS technology and illegal traders

City council officials have resolved to take the bull by the horn in the fight against illegal traders in Rome. Their decision is to use global positioning technology to track the movement of illegal carts, to enable them reduce the nuisance caused by unauthorized pedlers to tourists and residents.

GPS technology is fast becoming an essential travel guide: In France for instance, two companies are currently working on the GPS maps of the highways through digital recording of street names, their classifications, bridges on the highway, the speed limits and other fixtures so as to be able to provide an accurate database to GPS users.
