Automatic number plate recognition

 Automatic number plate recognition-ANPR

This is simply how it works. In a country like the UK, law enforcement agencies can have in real time, the plate number of a car identified, with the aid of a video camera, that is connected to a computer in a police vehicle. With a software, the plate number is matched with the central database of the vehicle licensing authority and in few minutes officials can detect whether the plate number is fake or otherwise.

LiveEcon-an electronic teaching tool

LiveEcon an electronic teaching tool

I once took courses in web design with a class specific discussion forum and a web site. That was in the early days of the internet and later, the advent of the electronic blackboard, added a new dimension to student-teacher relations.

However, the decision of the UK-based Judge Business School and other institutions, to use LiveEcon, as part of a compulsory course, is a vivid illustration of how educational administrators are getting to grips with the reality of information technology.
As LiveEcon is the use by students and lecturers of computer modelling, texts, images and hyperlinks in the same way, they will use a textbook. LiveEcon retails at twenty pounds and available in 14 British universities dedicated to a plan to reduce the time, it takes to learn economics.

IT web sites for corporate france

IT advisory web site for corporate france

www.econumerique.pme.gouv.fr

In 1978, the Raymond Barre administration commissioned the Minc-Nora report, the waves of telecommunications deregulations put an end to the monopolistic role of France Telecom and this had for consequences the implementation of many initiatives that encouraged internet penetration under the Lionel Jospin government.

Aside from the creation of the electronic administration agency, incentives to facilitate the purchase of computers and wifi-access points everywhere are other policy initiatives in favor of information technology.

The launch this week of a web site to cater to the IT needs of small and medium sized companies is a bold attempt by the government to help companies take the IT move.

econumerique.pme.gouv.fr is divided into three parts: the first section is an IT purchase guide. How IT products affect the florist, dentist, accountant, lawyer and the building contractor were enumerated in the second section of this advisory web site. And the last section titled, “understanding information technology,” is like a guided tour for comapnies who want to use technology to change corporate culture.

RDM or electronic check deposit

Digital check deposits or RDM

Accountants and business professionals are familiar with that ordeal of going to the bank to deposit a check and other inconveniences. With the advent of a digital check scanner, it will no longer be necessary to waste precious executive time, going to the bank. Because with a scanner from the following digital check providers:
-PNC
-Southmost Dywall
-Panini
-Unisys
-Epson

Both sides of a check can be scanned and transfered to the bank in real time, thus phasing out the problem of lost checks, robbery and dishonest practices.
